Shelby & Kyle's Wedding at The Eddie Hotel & Farm

Shelby and Kyle got married this summer at The Eddie Hotel & Farm in Bloomfield — one of our favourite barns in Prince Edward County, and a venue we're back at often enough to know exactly where the light lands at every hour. This one had all of it: bridesmaids in matching pajamas, a dog in the wedding party, a kiss under the pergola that we'd genuinely put up against any we've filmed. Here's the day, start to finish — their full wedding film is still in the edit and will be added here once it's ready.

Getting Ready

The morning started slow and sunny — groomsmen carrying suit bags across the lawn, the bridesmaids in matching sage pajamas, and a bottle of champagne that didn't survive contact with the barn steps. Inside, Kyle tied his own tie while Shelby's rings, earrings, and invitation suite sat waiting on a little styled flat lay we couldn't resist shooting.

The Ceremony

Shelby walked down a grass aisle beside the farm's pond, her dad beside her, geese somewhere in the reeds making themselves known. Kyle's reaction when he saw her — the one below — is exactly the kind of unscripted moment we build our whole approach around catching.

Golden hour access is the one habit that improves every wedding gallery we deliver.

Portraits

We built in time after the ceremony for a proper portrait walk — including a stop for the couple's Bernese mountain dog, who took his role in the bridal party more seriously than some of the humans.

Reception

Cake, cocktails, and a first dance under string lights once the sun finally gave up for the night. This is the part of the day we always tell couples to protect on the timeline — everyone's relaxed, the light goes soft, and it's usually where the best candid footage comes from.
