We are based in beautiful Prince Edward County, Ontario — the heart of wine country. We serve Prince Edward County and Picton locally, and travel to Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area regularly. We're also available for destination weddings anywhere in Canada and internationally. Travel fees may apply for events outside Ontario.

Our focus is wedding photography and videography, but we offer a full range of services: corporate video, brand and commercial films, small-business promotional content, real estate videography, drone and aerial cinematography, engagement sessions, and post-production editing.

We recommend booking as early as possible — most couples book 12–18 months in advance, especially for Saturday dates in summer and fall. That said, if your date is close, please reach out anyway. We may still have availability, and we'd love to hear from you.

Wedding packages start at $3,500 and include a cinematic highlight film, multiple cameras, and high-definition video. Our most popular combined photo + video package starts at $6,500. Contact us at hello@mapletreefilms.com for a custom quote tailored to your day.

All packages include a cinematic highlight film, multiple cameras, HD video, liability insurance, and coverage of your ceremony and reception. Depending on the package, you may also receive raw footage, a USB drive, rehearsal dinner coverage, and client revision rounds. We'll walk you through every option on our initial call.

Yes, Maple Tree Films carries full liability insurance. We can provide a certificate of insurance to your venue upon request — most venues in Prince Edward County and Toronto require this from all vendors.

Yes — raw footage is available as an add-on or included in select packages. You'll receive all usable footage from your day delivered digitally or on a USB drive.

We shoot in a cinematic, documentary style — prioritising natural, candid moments over staged shots. We are genuinely fly-on-the-wall storytellers. You'll barely notice we're there, but the moments we capture will take your breath away when you watch them back.

Steve and/or Melissa Machnik will be your lead videographers and photographers — the same people you see on our website and social media. We are a small, intentional studio and we do not outsource your wedding to junior staff. What you see is who shows up.

We have a trusted network of fellow professional videographers and photographers we can call on in the unlikely event of an emergency. Your day will always be covered. This situation has never arisen in our 10+ years of business — but we are always prepared.

Most couples receive their highlight film within 8–12 weeks of their wedding date. We keep you updated throughout the editing process and welcome feedback during client revision rounds. Our turnaround timeline will be clearly stated in your contract.

Absolutely. We have filmed weddings in Sonoma Valley, California, across Ontario, and throughout Canada. We are available for destination weddings worldwide. Travel fees apply for events outside our local service area — contact us at hello@mapletreefilms.com for a travel quote.
